Corporate human rights responsibility and companies’ development impacts

In cooperation with Finnpartnership as an independent consultant we provide human rights consultancy services to companies, which have applied funding from Finnpartnership. We support companies e.g. in mapping human rights risks of their projects in different country contexts, in planning related risk management and in identifying other key activities in terms of human rights and business.

We have also trained companies in the application workshops about development impacts of business as well as on integration of Sustainable Development Goals into business. In the monthly training sessions, the role of companies in securing and promoting sustainable development was introduced, SDGs links to participants’ business were discussed, and tools for integrating SDGs into business development were provided.
