Preparation of the sustainable urban area programme

In 2019 we facilitated a series of workshops preparing Helsinki Region Environmental Service’s (HSY) programme on sustainable urban area. In the workshops, ideas and suggestions for climate sustainability and circulate economy projects, and related knowledge production were collected from relevant stakeholders.

Evaluation of the cooperation on Green Belt of Fennoscandia

FIANT was in the consultant team, who carried out the evaluation of the cooperation on Fennoscandian Green Belt for the Finnish Ministry of Environment. The cooperation aims at the protection of natural and cultural heritage of the border regions of Finland, Norway and Russia, and promotes regional economic and socially sustainable development.

EU LIFE Programme and Strategic Projects

FIANT was in the consultant team that made a stakeholder study of the strategic LIFE projects 2021-2017 for the Finnish Ministry of Environment. The strategic LIFE projects focus on nature and biodiversity, circular economy and quality of life, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and clean energy transition.

Final evaluation of a Finnish Red Cross project

We conducted the final evaluation of Finnish Red Cross project ”Building Resilient Communities” in Cambodia. The project focused on strengthening disaster risk management and promoting health at the community level and in schools.

Facilitating a strategy process

We facilitated the strategy process of Abilis Foundation. The Abilis Foundation is a non-governmental organisation founded by persons with disabilities.

Evaluation of Disability Partnership Finland’s development cooperation programme

We carried out the evaluation of Disability Partnership Finland’s development cooperation programme. The programme focuses on the rights of the persons with disabilities and strengthening the capacity of organisations of persons with disabilities in developing countries.
